PM Launches ₹4,000 Crore Projects in Sikkim

On 28th April 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for over 30 development projects in Sikkim worth more than ₹4,000 crore during the Statehood celebrations.

  • Key connectivity initiatives include progress on the Sevok-Rangpo railway line, which will bring rail access to Sikkim for the first time.
