Central Prabhari Officer (CPO) Portal
- 06 May 2026
On 5th May 2026, NITI Aayog launched the Central Prabhari Officer (CPO) portal to strengthen real-time governance and improve coordination among stakeholders.
- The portal aims to accelerate last-mile delivery under the Aspirational Districts Programme and Aspirational Blocks Programme.
- The platform enables real-time submission and tracking of field observations, ensuring that grassroots insights directly inform policy actions and administrative interventions.
- Central Prabhari Officers (CPOs) can submit field observations and recommendations in real time through mobile devices using the portal.
- Once uploaded, the data becomes instantly visible to districts, allowing them to review suggestions, take action and submit responses accordingly.
- State Planning Secretaries can use the portal to coordinate across departments, monitor implementation and record feedback on actions taken.
- Officials from NITI Aayog, line ministries and departments will also be able to monitor inputs and administrative responses through the platform.
- The portal has been designed as a unified digital interface to bridge the gap between field observations and administrative action.
