JEEVAN App and SHATAYU Dashboard

On 22nd May 2026, centre announced the launch of the JEEVAN app (Joint Elderly Empowerment & Virtual Assistance Network) and the SHATAYU (Senior Holistic Care Assistance and Training For Your Utility) Geriatric Caregiver Dashboard during a virtual programme on “Creating a Well-Functioning Care Economy”.

The programme was organised by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to strengthen India’s care ecosystem through technology, policy support and community participation.
The initiative focused on improving systems related to eldercare, childcare, disability support, health-related home care and domestic care services.
The JEEVAN app was launched to support senior citizens through digital services and easier access to care-related resources.
The SHATAYU Dashboard was introduced to provide information and support mechanisms related to geriatric caregivers and elderly care systems.
