Indigenous Video Story-Generating AI Model ‘Varya’ Launched

On June 12, 2026, Avataar, an AI-native transformation company, announced the launch of ‘Varya’, a distilled video AI model designed to make frontier video AI affordable, accessible, and relevant for India’s next generation of users.

India-Centric Design: ‘Varya’ has been developed with India’s diverse linguistic, cultural, and social contexts in mind.
Cultural Understanding: The model can understand and generate visual content aligned with cultural references from different regions of India, including festivals, communities, cuisines, traditional attire, public spaces, and everyday life.
