Development Projects Worth ₹47,600 Crore

On 20th June 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth over ₹47,600 crore in Odisha and announced the development of Pahadpur village in Mayurbhanj district as a Model Solar Village.

• Development projects were launched across sectors including railways, highways, power, urban development and industrial infrastructure.
• The Prime Minister reiterated the Purvodaya vision, emphasising the development of Eastern India as a key pillar of Viksit Bharat 2047.
