Nirbhay Chetna Training Module Launched

From 17th to 19th June 2026, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj organised a three-day Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on Nirbhay Chetna in New Delhi and launched the Nirbhay Chetna training module under the Nirbhaya Fund project.

Nirbhay Chetna is a national initiative aimed at sensitising men on women-related issues, including women’s safety, security, dignity, and gender equality, to promote gender-responsive governance at the grassroots level.
The programme was conducted under the Nirbhay Raho initiative, launched on 11th March 2026, with support from the Nirbhaya Fund.
The initiative aims to develop a network of 28,500 Master Trainers at the State, district, and block levels to train over 17 lakh male elected Panchayat representatives across the country.
