Citizen-Centric Initiatives at Rashtrapati Bhavan

On 28th July 2026, President Droupadi Murmu launched a series of citizen-centric, sustainability-focused, and heritage initiatives at Rashtrapati Bhavan to mark the completion of four years in office.

An application-based e-Audio Guide was launched for visitors to Rashtrapati Bhavan in Hindi, English, and 14 other Indian languages, along with a sign language module for enhanced accessibility.
The third edition of e-Upahaar, an online auction of 300 curated Presidential gifts, was unveiled. The auction will be held from 5th August to 5th September 2026.
The President inaugurated Bachpan 'Bal Parisar', comprising 'Kilkari' (a children's play zone) and 'Samarth Anganwadi-cum-Palna' for child care and development.
She flagged off RAAHI (Rashtrapati Bhavan Access And Heritage Interconnector), a fare-free electric bus service operated entirely by women drivers and conductors for residents and staff of the President's Estate.
