DAANVEER Initiative Launched

On 29th July 2026, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR) launched the DAANVEER initiative to strengthen the digital infrastructure of Gram Panchayats through voluntary citizen contributions.

  • About the Initiative: DAANVEER is a citizen participation platform that enables individuals and organisations to voluntarily contribute computers to eligible Gram Panchayats, helping bridge the digital infrastructure gap at the grassroots.
