Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan

On 12th August 2026, the Health Ministry concluded a two-day national workshop on Anemia Mukt Bharat (AMB) Abhiyaan.

  • The workshop brought together over 160 representatives from all States and Union Territories.
  • It focused on implementing the revised AMB framework and strengthening the 7×7×7 strategy.
  • The revised framework shifts from supplementation towards testing, treatment and digital beneficiary tracking.
  • The strengthened 7×7×7 approach replaces the earlier 6×6×6 framework.
  • The Anemia Mukt Bharat Application and Portal was launched for beneficiary-level treatment tracking.
