India and Belgium Deepen Strategic Partnership

On 3rd September 2026, India and Belgium agreed to deepen cooperation in defence, trade, technology, energy, critical minerals and maritime security.

- Strategic Dialogue: The inaugural India-Belgium Strategic Dialogue was launched in Brussels in July 2026.

- Trade Target: India and Belgium agreed to work towards doubling bilateral trade over the next five years.
