Platform for Aggregating Clean Transport (PACT)
- 08 Sep 2026
On 7th September 2026, during the 5th e-FAST India Summit 2026, NITI Aayog launched the Platform for Aggregating Clean Transport (PACT) to accelerate zero-emission freight deployment in India.
- PACT aggregates freight demand from shippers, LSPs and ecosystem stakeholders.
- It translates freight demand into deployment opportunities across identified freight corridors.
- The platform connects shippers, LSPs, manufacturers, financiers and charge point operators (CPOs).
- It improves demand visibility and supports corridor-based charging infrastructure planning.
- PACT strengthens the commercial case for electric medium- and heavy-duty vehicles (e-MHDVs).
