ISSF Junior World Cup 2022

International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup 2022 was held at Suhl in Germany.

  • The Indian team came in first position overall. They won 33 medals (13 gold, 15 silver, and 5 bronze).
  • With four gold medals, Italy came in second place.

ISSF President’s Cup

India won five medals in the inaugural ISSF President’s Cup held at the Wroclaw in Poland.

Indian becomes Table-topper at ISSF Junior World Championship

  • India won 43 medals to finish on top in the ISSF Junior World Championship held in Lima (Capital of Peru).
  • India concluded the meet with 17 Gold, 16 silver and 10 bronze medals.
  • The USA finished second on the medal table with 21 medals including six gold, eight-silver and six bronze.
  • Manu Bhaker was the most successful Indian athlete who won four-gold and one bronze medal.

ISSF World Cup: Rahi Sarnobat wins Gold

  • In ISSF World Cup shooting, India’s Rahi Sarnobat won gold in women’s 25 metres pistol event in Osijek, Croatia.
  • Manu Bhaker, the other Indian in fray, finished seventh in the eight-competitor final.
  • Mathilde Lamolle of France won silver while Russia’s Vitalina Batsarashkina took home bronze.

  • In ISSF World Cup shooting at Osijek in Croatia, India’s Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary clinched silver in the 10 metres air pistol mixed team event.
  • The pair lost 12-16 to Russia’s Vitalina Batsarashkina and Artem Chernousov who won the gold medal.
