The Global Hunger Index (GHI) 2024 was released in October 2024 aiming to measure and track hunger comprehensively at global, regional, and national levels.

  • The report is released by Concern Worldwide and Welthungerhilfe.

Scale & Indicators

The GHI score is calculated on a 100-point scale; 0 = no hunger, 100 = worst hunger.

The report uses four indicators -

  1. Undernourishment
  2. Child Stunting
  3. Child Wasting
  4. Child Mortality
