Global Risks Report

The World Economic Forum (WEF) released the 20th edition of the Global Risks Report on January 15, 2025.

The Report aims to identify and assess key global and regional risks over short and long-term horizons.

Key Findings

  • According to the report, top short-term global risks (next 2 years) include misinformation and disinformation, extreme weather events, and state-based armed conflict.
  • Top long-term global risks (next 10 years) include extreme weather events, biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse, and critical changes to earth systems.
