PM Inaugurates Development Projects in Rajasthan

On 22nd May 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated, laid foundation stones, and dedicated multiple infrastructure projects in Rajasthan, spanning railways, roadways, energy, and water sectors.
Key Points
- Infrastructure Projects: Includes development across Railways, Roads, Power, Water, and Renewable Energy sectors in Rajasthan.
 - Amrit Stations Redevelopment: PM inaugurated 103 redeveloped Amrit Stations across 86 districts in 18 States and UTs.
 - Deshnoke Station Inauguration: PM inaugurated Deshnoke Amrit Station, inspired by temple architecture, and flagged off the Bikaner-Mumbai express train.
 - Eight Rajasthan Stations: Apart from Deshnoke, redeveloped stations include Bundi, Mandalgarh, Gogameri, Govindgarh, Mandawar-Mahuwa Road, Fatehpur Shekhawati, and Rajgarh.
 - Local Heritage Focus: Station designs under the Amrit Bharat Scheme reflect regional culture and architecture.
 - National Rollout: The first batch of 103 stations is part of 1,300 planned; next 100 to be completed within 8 months, and 500 by 2027.
 - Cost and Distribution: Rs. 1,100 crore spent; key states include UP (19 stations), Gujarat (18), Maharashtra (15), and Tamil Nadu (9).
