  • Joe Bugner, born in Hungary and later based in Britain, was a three-time European heavyweight champion and twice held the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles.
  • His career highlights included fights against legendary boxers Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier in 1973, with both winning on points against him.
  • Over a career spanning 32 years and 83 fights, he won 69 bouts, including 41 by knockout, before retiring in 1999.
