Dubai Launches Dock & Dine to Boost Yachting Tourism

On 1st September 2025, the Dubai Maritime Authority and Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism announced the launch of the Dock & Dine initiative, aimed at positioning Dubai as the world’s leading yachting destination by seamlessly linking luxury dining and marina experiences.

The initiative spans 20 premier marinas and marine stations across Dubai, ensuring that yacht owners and guests can access top-tier waterfront dining options within a 45-minute to one-hour sailing radius.
As part of Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33, the program is designed to enhance the city’s global reputation in business and leisure tourism by integrating its maritime and culinary strengths.
Under the scheme, yacht visitors will benefit from complimentary moorage, rapid booking responses within five minutes to an hour, direct restaurant reservations, and dedicated dock tenders for smooth transfers.
Streamlined regulations provide a standardized and hassle-free experience, harmonizing procedures across participating venues to improve services for both domestic and foreign-flagged vessels.
The launch is timed ahead of Dubai’s peak yachting season from October to April, when favorable weather and a packed event calendar draw international maritime tourists.
