- Bargiel, 37, is known for extreme skiing feats and was the first to ski down K2 in 2018.
- His Everest climb to the 8,849m summit took longer than planned due to heavy snow.
- He spent 16 hours in the “death zone” (above 8,000m) without oxygen.
- Bargiel spent only a few minutes at the summit before beginning his ski descent.
- A video on his Facebook showed him skiing down thick snow against the Himalayan peaks.
- He paused overnight at Camp 2 (6,400m) due to darkness, resuming descent at sunrise.
