On 5 October 2025, Union Environment Minister inaugurated Rajasthan’s first ‘Namo Biodiversity Park’ at Pratap Bandh in Alwar, advancing the state’s green infrastructure.
- Named ‘Namo Van,’ the park is envisioned as a vital green lung for Alwar, aimed at enhancing local greenery and improving air quality for residents and visitors.
- The park is designed to raise environmental awareness, encouraging citizens to adopt eco-friendly lifestyles and sustainable practices during their visits.
- Beyond ecological benefits, the park is intended as a platform to inspire community-driven conservation and support sustainable urban living initiatives.
