On 8th January 2026, Union Minister for Women and Child Development launched PANKHUDI, an Integrated Digital Portal, in New Delhi to improve coordination, transparency and stakeholder participation in programmes for women and children.

  • The portal focuses on key thematic areas including nutrition, health, early childhood care and education, child welfare, and women’s safety and empowerment.
  • PANKHUDI aims to enhance ease of living for women and children by streamlining collaboration and support mechanisms.
  • PANKHUDI is designed as a single-window digital platform, bringing together individuals, Non-Resident Indians, non-governmental organisations and institutions to support women and children, including through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
  • All contributions through the portal will be accepted only via non-cash digital modes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • The portal is expected to strengthen infrastructure and services across over 14 lakh Anganwadi centres, 5,000 child care institutions, and nearly 800 One Stop Centres nationwide.
