On 8-9 February 2026, the Global CyberPeace Summit was held at the United Services Institution of India (USI), New Delhi, ahead of Safer Internet Day (10 February), focusing on strengthening trust, safety and cyber resilience.
- The two-day summit brought together policymakers, law enforcement, defence personnel, technology platforms, academia, civil society and citizens to advance collaboration on digital security.
- Discussions emphasised that cyber safety is a shared responsibility involving governments, institutions, industry and everyday internet users.
- Day 1 focused on framing cyber resilience as a people-centric issue, highlighting the growing digital footprint in governance, business and daily life.
- The Global CyberPeace Summit framework was formally launched, along with technical sessions on malware analysis, critical infrastructure protection and industrial control systems.
- Day 2 focused on operationalising Trust & Safety through capacity-building initiatives for children, parents, first responders and security personnel.
- CyberPeace Tech sessions and buildathon tracks showcased AI-driven solutions and innovation platforms for Trust & Safety and digital resilience.
