AI-Powered Teacher App 2.0 Launched

On 23rd February 2026, Union Education Minister launched the Teacher App 2.0, Powered by AI in collaboration with Bharti Airtel and CK-12 Foundation in New Delhi.

The app is designed as an AI-driven tech companion to empower and support schoolteachers.
It provides tools, digital content, and performance dashboards to make teaching more engaging and productive.
The Minister stated that the government is rapidly embedding Artificial Intelligence in education, and the launch strengthens India’s ongoing AI revolution.
The Minister urged collaborators to use sovereign Language Learning Models and ensure training tools are available in the majority of Indian languages.
