Textiles Summit 2026 Concludes

On 24th June 2026, the Ministry of Textiles concluded the two-day Textiles Summit 2026, focusing on a future roadmap for the sector with emphasis on sustainability, exports, and global competitiveness.
- The summit deliberated on quality standards, sustainability certifications, textile waste management, recycling systems, digital product passports, promotion of man-made fibres (MMF), MSME competitiveness, and Brand India in global markets.
- Participants reaffirmed the sector’s target of achieving USD 100 billion in textile exports by 2030 through enhanced market diversification, export enablement, and ease of doing business.
