Lokmanya Tilak National Award

On 20th July 2026, National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval was selected for the Lokmanya Tilak National Award for his outstanding contribution to India's national security.

• The award will be presented on 1st August 2026 in Pune on the 106th death anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak.
• The award comprises a memento, citation, and a cash prize of ₹1 lakh.
• Ajit Doval has been honoured for his contributions to national security, counter-terrorism operations, covert missions, and border security.
