Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan

On 2nd August 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan’, a nationwide campaign to mobilise youth against substance abuse and promote a drug-free India.

- Duration: The campaign will run for 100 weeks, with dedicated activities every Sunday.
- Activities: Weekly programmes will include sports events, cultural programmes, meditation sessions, yoga and awareness campaigns to encourage community participation.
- Background: The initiative began as a pilot project in Kashi and has now been expanded nationwide with the support of over 125 spiritual organisations and several NGOs under the Kashi Declaration.
