Development Projects Launched in Rajasthan

On 16th August 2026, Union Home Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 944 projects in Rajasthan.

• The projects, spread across 15 districts, have a combined value of ₹5,755 crore.
• Union Home Minister also unveiled a 21-foot statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Chittorgarh.
• The statue was installed at a cost of over ₹1.5 crore on Vajpayee’s death anniversary.
• Rajasthan now has 772 Eklavya Vidyapeeths for tribal students, according to Shah.
• Under Har Ghar Nal Se Jal, household water connections increased from 11 lakh to 64 lakh.
