Odisha-UAE Investment Initiatives

On 10th September 2026, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited the UAE to attract investments.

• Odisha signed an MoU with IHC and Adani Group for 14 projects.
• The proposed projects involve estimated investments of ₹2,10,500 crore.
• The projects could generate around 8.68 lakh employment opportunities.
• Proposed sectors include critical minerals, chemicals, renewable energy and healthcare.
• Other sectors include tourism, skill development, sports and industrial infrastructure.
• Odisha proposed land in Rayagada for alumina refinery development.
