On 9th September 2026, India showcased its steel capabilities through the India Steel Pavilion at INNOPROM India 2026.

• The exhibition is being held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from 9–11 September.
• The pavilion theme is “Forging Together – For Infinite Progress.”
• It highlights India’s ambition to emerge as a global steel powerhouse.
• Key cooperation areas include coking coal, nickel, speciality steel and advanced technologies.
• SAIL, NMDC, MOIL and MECON are participating in the India Steel Pavilion.
• India and Russia discussed cooperation across the steel value chain.
