Aadhaar Face Authentication SDK & Sandbox

On 9th September 2026, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) launched Aadhaar Face Authentication Software Development Kit (SDK) and Sandbox.

• The tools were launched at the Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai.
• The SDK enables Aadhaar face authentication within Android and iOS applications.
• It eliminates the need to switch between separate applications during authentication.
• The SDK uses AI/ML-based liveness detection and anti-spoofing capabilities.
• The Sandbox provides a secure environment to integrate, test and validate authentication processes.
