9th Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2026 Launched

On 9th September 2026, Union Ministry of Women and Child Development launched Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2026 in Varanasi.

Campaign Period: Rashtriya Poshan Maah will be observed from 9 September to 8 October 2026.
Theme: “Hamari Anganwadi, Hamari Jimmedari” focuses on strengthening community ownership of Anganwadi Centres.
Nutrition Focus: The campaign promotes dietary diversity, adequate protein and fresh hot cooked meals.
Maternal Health: Maternal nutrition and health remain major priorities under the campaign.
Early Childhood: The campaign emphasises early childhood development and care.
Anganwadi Services: Centres provide nutrition, health and early childhood care services to beneficiaries.
Digital Monitoring: Anganwadi Workers use smartphones for real-time data entry and monitoring.
Hot Cooked Meals: HCM is provided to eligible beneficiaries through Anganwadi Centres.
Take Home Ration: THR supports supplementary nutrition for eligible beneficiaries.
Saksham Anganwadis: The government is upgrading 2 lakh Anganwadi Centres under Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0.
