DILRMP 3.0 Operational Guidelines Launched

On 10th September 2026, the Union Government launched the Operational Guidelines for the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) 3.0 (2026-2031) in New Delhi.

- Implementing Ministry: Department of Land Resources under the Ministry of Rural Development.
- Core Objective: DILRMP 3.0 aims to integrate land-record systems and improve ease of living.
- System Integration: The programme moves beyond isolated digitisation towards integrated land administration.
- Spatial Accuracy: It focuses on accurate spatial data and georeferenced land maps.
- Interoperability: Land databases will enable seamless information exchange across departments.
- Digital Public Infrastructure: DILRMP 3.0 seeks to establish integrated digital infrastructure for land administration.
- Institutional Credit: Accurate land records can facilitate easier access to institutional credit.
- Citizen Services: Integrated records can reduce repeated visits to government offices.
- Implementation: The programme will cover all States and Union Territories.
