ISRO Tests CE20 Cryogenic Engine at Uprated Thrust

On 9th September 2026, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully conducted a flight acceptance hot test of the CE20 cryogenic engine at uprated thrust conditions of 220 kN, advancing efforts to enhance the payload capability of the LVM3 launch vehicle and supporting the Gaganyaan programme.

- Test Location: The test was conducted at the ISRO Propulsion Complex in Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu.
- LVM3 Capability: The test supports an uprated C32 upper stage to enhance LVM3 payload capacity.
