Minerva School Wins 65th Subroto Cup Under-17 Title

On September 24, 2026, the 65th Subroto Cup International Football Tournament-2026 concluded at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi.
Key Facts
- Under-17 Boys: Minerva Public School, Mohali won the title by defeating MIC EMHSS of Kerala 3–2.
- Prize Money: The winning team received a prize money of Rs. 5 lakh, while the runner-up team received Rs. 3 lakh.
- Other Winners: St. Patrick's High School, Gumla (Jharkhand) won the Under-17 Girls title, and Manikpara Vivekananda Vidyapith, West Bengal won the Under-15 Boys title.
- Subroto Cup: The Subroto Cup was initiated in 1960. It is named after Air Marshal Subroto Mukherjee, the first Indian Chief of Air Staff of the Indian Air Force.
