On 15th May 2025, the Indian Army conducted ‘Teesta Prahar,’ a large-scale integrated field exercise in West Bengal’s Teesta field firing range, showcasing joint operational readiness in challenging riverine terrain.

  • The exercise was carried out to validate coordination among various combat and support arms in a complex riverine environment, demonstrating high levels of battlefield integration.
  • Conducted by the Trishakti Corps, the drill highlighted synergy across multiple divisions, including Infantry, Artillery, Armoured Corps, Mechanised Infantry, Special Forces, Engineers, Signals, and Army Aviation.
