PM Conferred Indonesia's Highest Civilian Honour

On 7th July 2026, during his official visit to Jakarta Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred the Bintang Adipurna of the Republic of Indonesia (Star of the Republic of Indonesia), Indonesia's highest civilian honour, by President Prabowo Subianto.
- The award was conferred in recognition of his leadership in strengthening India–Indonesia relations and promoting unity, continuity, and prosperity.
- Instituted in 1959, the Bintang Adipurna is Indonesia's highest civilian and military honour.
- The award is presented to individuals who have rendered outstanding service towards the unity, continuity, prosperity, and national interests of the Republic of Indonesia.
