Veer Guardian 2026

On 8th September 2026, India and Japan announced the bilateral air exercise Veer Guardian 2026.
- The Indian Air Force (IAF) and Japan Air Self-Defence Force (JASDF) will participate.
- The exercise will be held at Air Force Station Jodhpur from 9–22 September.
- It is a 14-day bilateral air exercise involving frontline fighter aircraft.
- The IAF will deploy Tejas, Su-30MKI and Rafale fighter aircraft.
- The JASDF will participate with its F-2A fighter aircraft.
- The exercise will enhance interoperability and operational coordination between both air forces.
