Vijay Hazare Trophy Title

On 18th January 2026, Vidarbha defeated Saurashtra by 38 runs to win their first-ever Vijay Hazare Trophy title at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground in Bengaluru.

  • Vidarbha posted 317/8, led by Atharva Taide’s 128 off 118 balls, his first century of the tournament, while Aman Mokhade scored 33.
  • Saurashtra were restricted to 279, despite a 93-run fifth-wicket stand between Prerak Mankad (88) and Chirag Jani (64).
  • The victory marked Vidarbha’s maiden white-ball triumph, redeeming their loss in last year’s final.
