Multi-Layered Ballistic Missile Defence System

On 11th June 2026, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully demonstrated a multi-layered Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) system and conducted the maiden flight test of the Naval Anti-Ship Missile-Medium Range (NASM-MR), marking a major milestone in India's indigenous defence capabilities.
