Russia Grand Sand Master Cup 2026

In June 2026, renowned Indian sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik became the first Indian to win the Russia Grand Sand Master Cup 2026.

• The award was conferred at the II International Festival of Sand Sculpture held in Kaliningrad, Russia.
• The festival, which opened on 11th June 2026, featured 12 leading sand sculptors from different countries.
• Pattnaik won the competition for his three-metre-tall sand sculpture highlighting the issue of global warming.
