India and France Announce 13 Key Outcomes

On 14th June 2026, India and France announced 13 major outcomes across technology, innovation, trade, education, space, infrastructure and strategic cooperation, further strengthening their Special Global Strategic Partnership.
Key Points:
- India-France Innovation Roadmap 2030: Adopted to guide long-term cooperation in technology, innovation, research and education.
- Joint AI Working Group: India and France agreed to establish a Joint AI Working Group focused on AI governance and responsible use of artificial intelligence.
- Centre of Excellence for Aeronautics: An MoU was signed to establish a National Centre of Excellence for Skilling in Aeronautics and Allied Sectors at NSTI, Kanpur.
- Expansion of UPI in France: Both countries agreed to expand the usage of India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in France to strengthen digital payment cooperation.
- Support for Indian Startups: 10 additional Indian startups will be incubated at Station F, one of the world's largest startup campuses.
