Book Agatthiyar – The Unifier Released

On 15th June 2026, Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan released the book “Agatthiyar – The Unifier” at the Vice President's House (Uprashtrapati Bhavan) in New Delhi.

The book highlights the enduring legacy of Sage Agatthiyar and his role in promoting the cultural and spiritual unity of Bharat.
The Vice President stated that India’s unity is not a modern political construct but an ancient civilisational reality nurtured over thousands of years.
Agatthiyar (Agastya) is revered as one of the most prominent sages in Indian tradition.
He is associated with the spread of Vedic knowledge and cultural integration between northern and southern India.
