Slovakia’s Highest State Honour to PM Modi

On 15th June 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred Slovakia’s highest State honour, “The Order of the White Double Cross, First Class”.

• The honour recognises Prime Minister Modi’s contribution to strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between India and Slovakia.
• The Order of the White Double Cross is the highest civilian honour awarded by Slovakia.
• It is conferred on Slovak citizens as well as foreign nationals for exceptional contributions to the development of relations with Slovakia and promotion of its interests.
