Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM)

On 15th June 2026, the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted a flight-test of the indigenously developed Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM) from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha.

- Tracking and Evaluation: The flight was monitored through various tracking instruments deployed by the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur.

- Fully Indigenous Development: The missile has been developed indigenously with contributions from multiple DRDO laboratories and Indian industry partners.
- Nodal Laboratory: The Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) served as the nodal laboratory for the project.
