India and Slovakia Elevate Ties to Comprehensive Partnership

On 15th June 2026, India and Slovakia elevated their bilateral relationship to a Comprehensive Partnership and signed 11 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) across key sectors during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Slovakia.

Counter-Terrorism Cooperation: Both countries agreed to establish a Joint Working Group (JWG) on Counter-Terrorism to strengthen cooperation against terrorism.

- Labour Migration: Agreement to enhance cooperation in labour mobility and migration.
- Higher Education and Research: MoU to strengthen academic and research collaboration.
