WT-MARUT Portal Launched

On 15th June 2026, the Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy launched WT-MARUT (Wind Turbine Materials and Resources Utility Tracker), India’s first dedicated wind turbine supply chain management portal, at the Global Wind Day Conference in Goa.

  • The portal has been developed under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) with support from the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association.
  • It aims to strengthen India's domestic wind manufacturing ecosystem and support the country's clean energy transition.
  • The portal will improve transparency and visibility across the wind energy supply chain.
  • It will facilitate compliance with the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) framework and promote domestic sourcing.
  • WT-MARUT will assist in supplier discovery, qualification, stakeholder collaboration and export readiness.
