Pandharpur Movement started in the Pandharpur area of Maharashtra and the saints were the devotees of Vitthal God i.e. Krishna. Pandharpur Movement was divided into two groups namely Warakari and Dharakari- Warakari saints were Namdev, Tukaram and some examples of Dharakuri saints are Ramdas and he was the spiritual guru of ‘Shivaji’. He orally narrated a book called ‘Dashbodh’.
Purpose of the Question:
The CM of Maharashtra had to cancel the visit to Pandharpur Temple due to the Maratha reservation issues in July 2018.
